As it was with The Black Nag, this is also a traditional jig called a double jig. It is normally played with a quick bow and flying fingers. But instead, from the beginning I heard the haunting harmony of a woman’s voice and so it developed into the arrangement on the album. Scott’s main instrument is the alto saxophone, and the influences of his blues sax come through his whistle on this tune.
