I really enjoy the passion and romance found in Nouveau Flamenco music. Many of the same instruments that are used in Celtic music can also be played in such a way to sound similar to this style. Our percussionist and our guitarist created authentic styles of play to meet the challenge. Tim chose the Cajon as it is authentic to the flamenco style, and Eric worked out several amazing tracks creating the flamenco style of playing on his guitar. The foundation they set around the harp’s melody created the very romantic backdrop for Brynn’s violin and Kellie’s aria to weave in and around. The passionate energy of the cajon, violin, and flamenco guitar makes this tune one that I really enjoy playing live.
